‘The Last House’ Trailer Teases Sci-Fi Horror Mystery from Netflix
From director Louis Leterrier (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), the sci-fi horror thriller The Last House is headed to Netflix this summer, and the official trailer has now been released.
Starring Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, the film follows a family of four who suddenly find themselves sealed inside their home with no way out. As their resources dwindle, they’re forced to confront an unseen, escalating threat that is keeping them trapped inside.

The film also features Riley Chung (Sunrise), Emma Ho (The Expanse), Noah Alexander Sosnowski (Section 8), and Gabriel Barbosa (May December).
The script comes from Matthew Robinson (Love and Monsters, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die), with Leterrier producing alongside Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Kori Adelson, and 3 Arts Entertainment’s Oly Obst. Executive producers include Thomas Benski, Cecile Gaget, Lars Sylvest, Thorsten Schumacher, and Damian Anderson.
The premise bears similarities to The End of Oak Street, another upcoming sci-fi horror story centered on a family trapped in a suburban nightmare, suggesting a potentially interesting thematic pairing for genre fans this summer.
