Dexter Morgan isn’t finished killing just yet. Paramount+ has unveiled the first official images from Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection, teasing another deadly chapter for television’s most infamous vigilante serial killer.

Michael C. Hall returns as Dexter, who once again finds himself navigating a dangerous web of murder in New York City. This time, he’s caught between two terrifying threats: one is a notorious killer with an established reputation, while the other is a mysterious murderer unleashing chaos across the city in unexpected ways. As if that weren’t enough, Dexter must also confront an unexpected personal battle—a full-blown midlife crisis.

Meanwhile, Harrison Morgan (Jack Alcott) continues forging his own path in the pursuit of justice, setting the stage for what promises to be the darkest chapter yet in the complicated father-and-son relationship.

Returning cast members include Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar.

Season 2 also introduces several major new faces. Dan Stevens joins the series as the chilling Five Borough Killer, while Brian Cox steps into the role of the New York Ripper. Also joining the cast are Bokeem Woodbine as NYPD Homicide Captain Mixon and Nona Parker Johnson as Harrison’s new love interest, Fiona Mixon.

Fans can also expect guest appearances from Krysten Ritter, who reprises her role, alongside newcomer Gabriel Luna.

Series creator Clyde Phillips returns as showrunner and executive producer, continuing the latest chapter in the long-running Dexter franchise.

The first season of Dexter: Resurrection is currently streaming on Paramount+, with Season 2 expected to continue expanding the blood-soaked story of Dexter Morgan as new killers emerge and old demons refuse to stay buried.
