The Fall franchise is climbing even higher—and this time, there may be nowhere to run.

The first trailer for Fall 2: Deadpoint has arrived, taking the survival horror series to a new location with an entirely new group of characters facing an even more terrifying fight for survival.

The horror sequel hits theaters on September 2, 2026, and carries a PG-13 rating for “strong language, some violent content/bloody images and drug material.”

Harriet Slater (Tarot) leads the cast, starring alongside Arsema Thomas (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story) and Tom Brittney (Greyhound).

Michael and Peter Spierig (Predestination, Jigsaw) direct the sequel from a screenplay by Fall writers Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank. Mann, who directed the original film, is also returning to the franchise as a producer.

This time, the fear of heights reaches an entirely new level.

After the first film left audiences watching two women become trapped at the top of an abandoned 2,000-foot radio tower, Fall 2: Deadpoint takes the nightmare to 5,000 feet above the ground.

The official synopsis follows Jax, a woman struggling with the loss of her fearless sister, Hunter. Determined to honor her memory, Jax agrees to undertake a dangerous climb alongside Hunter’s former friend.

But their tribute quickly turns into a fight for their lives.

While attempting to cross the perilous planks of Mount Kwan, a massive rockslide leaves the pair stranded thousands of feet in the air. With nowhere to escape and vertigo-inducing drops surrounding them, Jax must confront not only the mountain—but dark secrets, devastating twists and her own deepest fears.

And judging by the new trailer, surviving the climb may be only the beginning.

The franchise is already looking beyond the sequel. A third Fall movie has been greenlit, with Scott Mann set to return to the director’s chair.

The original Fall became a surprise theatrical hit when it was released in 2022, earning approximately $18 million worldwide and turning a simple fear of heights into one of the decade’s most nerve-shredding survival horror concepts.
