Formerly known as Flowervale Street, The End of Oak Street marks a cosmic new adventure from David Robert Mitchell (It Follows).

The first teaser trailer — and poster — reveal Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor coming face-to-face with rampaging dinosaurs after a mysterious cosmic event rips their suburban street from reality and drops it somewhere unrecognizable.

Produced by J.J. Abrams, the sci-fi thriller stomps into theaters and IMAX on August 14 via Warner Bros., promising a tense mix of survival, spectacle, and jaw-dropping terror.

The story follows the Platt family, who quickly learn that surviving this transformed Oak Street will require sticking together as they navigate a world that has become utterly alien — and dangerous.

The cast also features Maisy Stella (My Old Ass), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth), Chris Coy (The Peripheral), P.J. Byrne (The Wolf of Wall Street), and Jordan Alexa Davis (Defending Jacob).

The creative team includes director of photography Michael Gioulakis (It Follows, Split), production designer Maya Shimoguchi (Hawkeye, Werewolf by Night), costume designer Erin Benach (Drive, Birds of Prey), editor John Axelrad (Ad Astra, Slither), and composer Michael Giacchino (The Batman, Jurassic World).

The production is spearheaded by Abrams and Hannah Minghella via Bad Robot, with Mitchell, Matt Jackson (Jackson Pictures), and Tommy Harper producing. Executive producers include Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee, and Leeann Stonebreaker.

With dinosaurs, cosmic chaos, and a world turned upside down, The End of Oak Street looks poised to deliver a sci-fi thriller that’s equal parts wonder and terror.
