‘The Headlands House’: Colman Domingo Leads Netflix’s New Thriller Series
Colman Domingo is heading into a nightmare of his own with The Headlands House, an upcoming thriller limited series that has officially landed at Netflix.
The series, which is currently in development, comes from writer and executive producer Cameron B. Dupont, known for Yellowjackets. AMC Studios will produce the series for Netflix.
In The Headlands House, a gay couple finally move into their dream home, hoping for a fresh start together. But their new life quickly takes a horrifying turn when they discover that the property’s previous residents were brutally murdered inside the house.
And the deeper they dig into the home’s dark history, the more they begin to suspect that the danger didn’t end with the previous owners.
Their own lives could be next.
Domingo, known for Candyman, Fear the Walking Dead, and the upcoming Disclosure Day, leads the cast.
The series is being developed as part of AMC Studios’ growing slate of projects produced for outside platforms. AMC president Kristin Dolan recently explained that developing projects for other distributors is a natural extension of the studio’s internal development process.
Domingo and Raúl Domingo will also executive produce the series through their production company Edith Productions.
There’s currently no release date or production timeline for The Headlands House, but the combination of a sinister house, a gruesome murder mystery, and Colman Domingo at the center makes this one worth keeping an eye on.
