5 New Horror Movies Just Released to Watch at Home
While horror fans wait for upcoming theatrical releases like ‘Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma’ and Eli Roth’s ‘Ice Cream Man’, several new nightmares have already arrived at home.
From haunted mansions and demonic possessions to cursed videos and supernatural mysteries, here are five new horror movies released on Digital and streaming on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
‘Haunted Heist’ — Now Available on Digital

A robbery turns into a fight for survival when a group of thieves discovers their target is already occupied… by ghosts.
The horror-comedy ‘Haunted Heist’ marks the directorial debut of Rel Howery (‘Get Out’), with Carl Reid (‘Mr. Crocket’) writing the screenplay from a story by Josh Feldman and Sean King O’Grady.
The film follows four friends whose reunion trip takes a terrifying turn when they break into a mansion and discover the former owners — ghosts from the 1950s — never actually left. Trapped by spirits preparing a deadly ritual, the group must survive the night against a supernatural threat.
The cast includes Tiffany Haddish, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, Karlous Miller, Rel Howery, Ari Dayan, and Brett Gelman.
‘Evil Dead Burn’ — Now Available on Digital

The ‘Evil Dead’ franchise returns with another brutal chapter of demonic chaos.
Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, ‘Evil Dead Burn’ follows a woman who seeks comfort with her in-laws after the death of her husband. But when family members begin transforming into Deadites, their reunion becomes a terrifying battle for survival.
The cast includes Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Errol Shand, and Maude Davey.
Sébastien Vaniček and Florent Bernard wrote the screenplay, with horror icon Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert producing. Executive producers include Bruce Campbell and ‘Evil Dead Rise’ filmmaker Lee Cronin.
‘Ragebait’ — Streaming Now on SCREAMBOX

Previously titled ‘Clickbait’, the found footage horror-comedy anthology ‘Ragebait’ is now available digitally and streaming exclusively on SCREAMBOX.
The film follows a fame-hungry live streamer who becomes the target of a mysterious curse after a viewer forces him to watch disturbing videos connected to missing creators.
As the stream continues, the cursed footage becomes increasingly disturbing, blurring the line between online entertainment and real-world horror.
Tyler Arceneaux, Jack Arden Garrett, and Ray Beer star, with the film directed by Joe Martinez-Weinberger, David James Clark, Dean Smith, and Taylor Weiss.
‘Evil Follows’ — Now Available on Digital

Indie horror ‘Evil Follows’ brings a terrifying twist to the classic haunted object story.
After purchasing their dream home following the death of Liz’s mother, Liz and Ethan believe they can finally move on. But everything changes when Ethan discovers an antique dybbuk box buried in the backyard — and opens it.
The entity inside chooses Liz as its next host, forcing Ethan to seek help from an exorcist before the evil presence completely takes over his wife.
Grace Maddux, Stuart Maxheimer, and Greg Brandenburg star. Brendan Rudnicki wrote and directed the film.
