Hope you’re not afraid of heights—because the first images from Fall 2 have officially dropped, giving a vertigo-inducing preview of the upcoming sequel.

Following the surprise success of 2022’s survival thriller Fall, the next chapter is set to hit theaters on August 7 via Lionsgate.

Directing duties this time go to Michael and Peter Spierig (Predestination, Jigsaw), working from a script by returning Fall writers Scott Mann—who also helmed the original—and Jonathan Frank.

The film stars Harriet Slater (Tarot), Arsema Thomas (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), and Tom Brittney (Greyhound).

The story follows Jax (Slater), who is still reeling from the death of her sister, Hunter. In search of closure, she teams up with Luce (Thomas), Hunter’s thrill-seeking friend. Together, they set out to conquer the notorious plank walk atop Mount Kwan in Thailand. But when a sudden rockslide strands them thousands of feet in the air on a precarious ledge, Jax is forced to face her fears head-on in a desperate fight for survival.

Behind the scenes, producers Mark Lane and James Harris return under Tea Shop Productions, alongside Christian Mercuri of Capstone Studios, David Haring, and Mann producing through his Flawless banner.

And the franchise isn’t slowing down—Fall 3 has already been greenlit, with Mann set to return to the director’s chair.
