The Battle for Manhattan Continues in New ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ Season 3 Trailer
The fight for Manhattan is far from over. AMC has released the official trailer for Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Dead City, teasing a new chapter that sees longtime rivals Maggie and Negan putting their differences aside in an effort to rebuild civilization in the heart of New York City.
The upcoming season premieres on July 26, 2026, and promises a fresh start for the survivors trying to establish the first thriving community in Manhattan since the zombie apocalypse.
According to the official synopsis, Maggie and Negan work together to create a safer future for the city’s residents. However, as new threats and unrest begin to emerge, both are forced to confront the painful scars of their past. The season asks a critical question: have they truly moved beyond their old wounds, or will their history destroy everything they’ve built?
The newly released trailer balances tension with surprising moments of humor while introducing several new faces who have joined the growing Manhattan community. As the city continues its struggle for survival, fresh alliances and dangerous challenges await around every corner.
Returning cast members include Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Gaius Charles, Lisa Emery, Logan Kim, Keir Gilchrist, Aimee Garcia, Jimmi Simpson, and Michael Emery.
Joining the cast this season is Raúl Castillo (Army of the Dead, Smile 2), whose role remains under wraps.
