Compulsion and vocation blur into something far more dangerous in the unsettling new trailer for Night Nurse, a neo-noir psychosexual thriller from writer-director Georgia Bernstein.

The film will be released by Independent Film Company on July 10, 2026.

Night Nurse follows Eleni (Cemre Paksoy), who begins a new job at a luxury retirement community and quickly finds herself drawn into a pattern of scam calls targeting vulnerable elderly residents. What begins as uneasy curiosity soon becomes fixation, as Eleni is pulled deeper into the community’s strange and suffocating rhythms.

As her connection with an enigmatic patient, Douglas (Bruce McKenzie), intensifies, the boundaries between care and desire begin to dissolve—along with the lines between devotion and delusion.

The film also stars Mimi Rogers (Ginger Snaps), adding further weight to the psychological tension at the story’s core.

Night Nurse marks the feature debut of Georgia Bernstein, who wrote and directed the film. She also produced alongside Edwin Linker, Liane Cunje, Veronica Barbosa, and Lucy Rogers, with executive producers Eddie Linker, Eric Ashworth, Stephen Lanus, and Amar Gupta.
