Dexter Morgan is back—and this time, he’s hunting two killers.

Paramount+ has released the first teaser for Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection, revealing that America’s favorite serial killer will return just in time for Halloween.

Season 2 premieres October 30, 2026, exclusively on Paramount+.

The new season finds Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) caught between two dangerous killers—one infamous, the other unleashing a reign of terror across New York that nobody saw coming.

And while Dexter has plenty of blood on his hands, he may have an even more difficult battle ahead: a mid-life crisis.

Meanwhile, his son Harrison (Jack Alcott) continues his own pursuit of justice, putting father and son on a collision course with their darkest chapter yet.

Dexter Has Two New Killers to Worry About

Dexter will be going head-to-head with not one, but two serial killers this season.

Dan Stevens (Onslaught) plays Lucas Stark, also known as the Five Borough Killer, while Brian Cox (Succession) portrays Don Framt, better known as the New York Ripper.

The returning and new cast also includes Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar.

Krysten Ritter returns in a guest-starring role, while Gabriel Luna joins the series as a guest star.

Clyde Phillips serves as showrunner and executive producer.

The Resurrection Continues

Season 1 proved that there’s still plenty of life left in Dexter Morgan.

Daniel Kurland praised the first season in his Bloody Disgusting review, writing, “Somehow, against all odds, Dexter: Resurrection is good. Really good.”

He also expressed hope that the second season would maintain the momentum rather than repeating some of the franchise’s past missteps.

Now Dexter is heading back into the darkness—and he’s got two serial killers waiting for him.

Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 premieres October 30, 2026, exclusively on Paramount+.

Season 1 is currently streaming on Paramount+ with the Paramount+ Premium Plan.
