Bigfoot is about to go on a killing spree.

The upcoming horror project Wildman has been picked up by genre label Badlands, and the script is being described as John Wick with Sasquatch.

Honestly, we’re listening.

The spec script comes from Jacob Rainer, and The Hollywood Reporter reports that Badlands, the genre label run by Scott Strauss, has acquired the project with plans to turn it into a feature film.

The story is about exactly what you’d expect from a movie called Wildman—except it sounds considerably more violent.

Here’s the official logline:

“When his little brother is killed by hunters, Bigfoot goes on a quest to retrieve the body while killing everyone responsible along the way.”

Yep. Bigfoot wants revenge.

Carson Reeves is attached to executive produce the project.

There’s also a pretty fitting connection to John Wick here. Badlands is the genre arm of Thunder Road, the production company behind the John Wick franchise.

So while we don’t know much about Wildman yet, the idea of a furious Sasquatch hunting down the people responsible for killing his brother is certainly one we’re going to be keeping an eye on.

Badlands’ first horror movie is Crawlers, which is set to arrive this Halloween.
