‘Wolf Creek’ Star John Jarratt Hunts in Brutal Survival Horror ‘Shed’ Trailer

Australian horror icon John Jarratt is heading back into nightmare territory—but before he reprises his role as Mick Taylor in Wolf Creek Legacy, he’s starring in a new survival horror film, Shed.

Set on Christmas Eve, the film is told almost entirely from the perspective of a child, making the terror feel intensely personal. The story follows 10-year-old Mia, who is accidentally locked inside a farm shed just as a violent stranger arrives on the property.

Trapped, alone, and unable to fully understand what’s happening outside, Mia is forced to endure hunger, fear, and the growing realization that something terrible has happened to her family. With the killer only feet away, she must rely on instinct, patience, and sheer will to survive.

Shed is written, directed, edited, and produced by Steven J. Mihaljevich under Playtime Motion Pictures. The cast also includes Mani Shanks and Jason Robert Lester.

The film premiered at Screamfest Horror Film Festival and went on to win Best Horror Feature, Best Screenplay, and Best Actress at the UK Film Awards. International sales are being handled by Black Mandala, with a U.S. release date yet to be announced.
