The official trailer for Evil Dead Burn, the sixth entry in the long-running horror franchise, dropped today courtesy of New Line Cinema and Warner Bros., giving fans a vicious first look ahead of its July 10 theatrical release.

Check out the trailer above.

This summer’s family reunion is about to get seriously unholy.

Evil Dead Burn cranks the brutality to new extremes, promising the most relentless and terrifying chapter in the franchise yet. The film introduces a fresh story packed with demonic chaos, pushing the series deeper into pure nightmare territory.

The story follows a grieving widow who retreats to her in-laws’ remote home after the death of her husband, hoping for comfort. Instead, she finds herself trapped in a living hell as each member of the family is overtaken and transformed into Deadites. As the house descends into madness, she realizes that the promises she made in life may carry far darker consequences beyond the grave.

The film is directed by Sébastien Vaniček, the French filmmaker who caught the attention of horror fans—and even Sam Raimi—with his 2024 debut Infested. Vaniček co-wrote the script with Florent Bernard.

Producing duties are handled by franchise veterans Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi, with Bruce Campbell, Lee Cronin, Romel Adam, and Jose Canas serving as executive producers.

Behind the scenes, Vaniček teams up with director of photography Philip Lozano, production designer Nick Connor, editor Maxime Caro, and costume designer Sarah Voon.

The cast includes Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two), Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), Tandi Wright (Pearl), and George Pullar (It Only Takes a Night).

And the carnage won’t stop there—Evil Dead Burn is already set to be followed by Evil Dead Wrath, which is slated to hit theaters on April 7, 2028.
