Neon has unveiled a striking new poster for Alpha, the latest body horror tour de force from writer-director Julia Ducournau (Raw, Titane).

The film hits theaters this Friday, March 27.

Alpha follows a troubled 13-year-old girl living with her single mother. Their fragile world is upended when she returns home from school with a mysterious tattoo on her arm, setting off a cascade of dark, unsettling events.

The cast includes Tahar Rahim (Madame Web), Golshifteh Farahani (Extraction), and Mélissa Boros, alongside Emma Mackey (Death on the Nile), Finnegan Oldfield (Infested), and Louai El Amrousy.

The film premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, earning Ducournau her second Palme d’Or nomination; her 2021 film Titane won the prestigious award.

Alpha is rated R for “drug content, sexual material, language, and some underage drinking.”
