‘Ready or Not 2’ Breaks the Internet with 68M Trailer Views in 24 Hours
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come just detonated across the internet, becoming Searchlight Pictures’ biggest trailer launch of all time with a massive 68 million views in its first 24 hours, according to Deadline.
The sequel’s viewership surge came from every corner of social media: 33M on TikTok, 12M on Facebook, 10M on Instagram, 6M on YouTube, 3M on Twitter, 2M on Pinterest, and 1M on Reddit.
It blows past the previous studio record held by A Complete Unknown, which debuted with 48 million views last year.
Not only that, but Ready or Not 2 also scored one of Searchlight’s strongest organic openings ever, landing in the studio’s Top 3 trailer launches of all time.
The hype is already fueling momentum for the sequel, which hits theaters April 10, 2026.
Picking up seconds after Grace escapes the carnage of the Le Domas massacre, the new film throws her into an even bloodier chapter. She’s now forced to face the next tier of the ancient game—this time alongside her estranged sister, Faith.
To survive, Grace must keep her sister alive and fight her way toward the High Seat, the throne controlling the shadowy Council that secretly rules the world. Four rival families want that power… and they’re more than willing to kill for it.
Radio Silence filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett return to direct from a script by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.
Samara Weaving reprises her role as Grace, joined by Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, Elijah Wood, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, and Daniel Beirne.
The original Ready or Not became a breakout hit in 2019, pulling in $57 million worldwide on a shoestring $6 million budget—setting the stage for this high-stakes, blood-soaked continuation.
