In anticipation of its International Premiere at the UK’s FrightFest, Raven Banner has unveiled the trailer for John Pata’s “Black Mold,” a cinematic venture described as a “hallucinogenic urban exploring horror movie.”

This film secured the coveted title of Best Indie Feature at this year’s Panic Fest in the United States, with star Agnes Albright also earning the honor of Best Actress. Prepare for a sneak peek into the eerie world of “Black Mold” with the official trailer provided below.

The narrative of the film revolves around photographer Brooke, portrayed by the talented Agnes Albright (known for her work in “True Detective”), and her companion Tanner, played by Andrew Bailes. These daring individuals have a penchant for infiltrating abandoned, forbidden structures in pursuit of their art and the intoxicating adrenaline rush it provides. However, their thrill-seeking escapades take a dark turn when they venture into the notorious Franklin Hill, a sprawling facility with a checkered history. Here, they cross paths with a deeply paranoid squatter, portrayed by Jeremy Holm (“Brooklyn 45”), who takes them captive.

As their captor prolongs their confinement, a disturbing revelation unfolds. It becomes evident that there is something far more sinister at play within these walls, where the boundary between artistic pursuits and inner turmoil blurs, giving rise to an unsettling and perilous situation.

“Black Mold” hails from the producers of “Brooklyn 45” and “The Stylist.”

The film is a production of Head Trauma, in association with The Line Film Co. and Shatterglass Films. The dedicated team behind its creation includes producers Sarah Sharp, Jen Shelby, Robert Patrick Stern, and Iman Sharabash, with Jill Gevargizian, Tony Wash, and Kevin McGrail serving as Co-Producers.
