The highly-anticipated second season of ‘Interview with the Vampire‘ is officially in the pipeline, and AMC has given fans a tantalizing glimpse at what’s to come during their New York Comic Con panel.

The sneak peek clip below delves into the enigmatic Théâtre des Vampires and the brooding vampire coven led by Armand, portrayed by Assad Zaman, as they prepare for a sumptuous dinner. Additionally, it introduces Delainey Hayles as Claudia, taking over the role from Bailey Bass, who appeared in the previous season.

Devotees of Anne Rice’s iconic novel can anticipate turbulent waters for Louis and Claudia as they intersect with the Théâtre des Vampires. The stakes are raised with the arrival of Ben Daniels as Santiago, the prominent vampiric thespian of the Théâtre des Vampires, whose suspicions about the American vampires, Louis and Claudia, deepen.

This series, which made its debut last year, offers a contemporary and unforgettable reimagining of Anne Rice’s bestselling work and is spearheaded by showrunner Rolin Jones (‘Friday Night Lights’).

Based on Anne Rice’s revolutionary gothic novel first published in 1976, ‘Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire’ recounts the epic saga of love, blood, and the consequences of immortality through the perspectives of Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), and Claudia. These narratives are shared with journalist Daniel Molloy, portrayed by Eric Bogosian. Torn by the constraints of life as a Black man in 1900s New Orleans, Louis is lured into Lestat de Lioncourt’s offer of becoming his immortal companion, only to find that the newfound powers come at a harrowing cost. The introduction of Claudia, Lestat’s latest fledgling, sets them on a path of vengeance and redemption spanning decades.

Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe is expanding, with fresh seasons of ‘Interview with the Vampire,’ ‘Mayfair Witches,’ and a spinoff centered around the enigmatic Talamasca currently in development.

Stay tuned for the arrival of season two of ‘Interview with the Vampire’ in 2024.”
