Great news for fans of “Interview with the Vampire”! AMC has officially announced the highly anticipated second season, teasing viewers with an exciting sneak peek unveiled at SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con).

The teaser sets the stage for an enthralling second season, focusing on the Théâtre des Vampires and the vampire coven of Armand, played by Assad Zaman. The clip begins with Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) engaging vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) in a conversation, giving a glimpse of the captivating storyline to come. Delainey Hayles takes over the role of Claudia after Bailey Bass’s exit in the previous season, providing fans with a closer look at the character.

For those familiar with Anne Rice’s novel, they know that Louis and Claudia won’t have an easy time at the Théâtre des Vampires, especially with the character Santiago, portrayed by Ben Daniels, who grows increasingly suspicious of the American vampires.

However, fans will have to wait patiently for the second season’s arrival, as the teaser reveals that “Interview with the Vampire” won’t grace our screens until 2024.

The series, which made its debut last year, offers a modern and unforgettable retelling of Anne Rice’s best-selling novel, skillfully led by showrunner Rolin Jones (“Friday Night Lights”).

Based on Anne Rice’s iconic gothic horror novel released in 1976, the series delves into the two-century-long life story of vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac as he recounts his twisted family saga to journalist Daniel Molloy.

The show presents a sensuous and contemporary reinvention of Anne Rice’s revolutionary gothic narrative, following Louis de Pointe du Lac, Lestat de Lioncourt (played by Sam Reid), and Claudia (formerly portrayed by Bailey Bass) on an epic journey of love, blood, and the challenges of immortality.

As the Immortal Universe of Anne Rice continues to expand, viewers can eagerly anticipate not only new seasons of “Interview with the Vampire” and “Mayfair Witches,” but also an upcoming spinoff centered around the Talamasca.

The captivating world of Anne Rice’s vampires and witches continues to thrive, promising more riveting stories and thrilling adventures in the future.
