Next up from Millie Bobby Brown, known for her roles in “Stranger Things” and “Enola Holmes,” is another exciting project with Netflix. The talented actress is set to headline the action-fantasy feature film titled “Damsel.”

In what seems like a blend of “Ready or Not” with a mythical twist featuring a fire-breathing dragon, “Damsel” is set to start streaming on Netflix from March 8. Be sure to catch the trailer for “Damsel” above.

Directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, known for his work on “28 Weeks Later,” the film promises a thrilling adventure.

In this upcoming movie, the storyline revolves around a dutiful damsel who agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to discover that the royal family has designated her as a sacrifice to settle an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her intelligence and determination to survive.

Millie Bobby Brown shared insights this week, teasing, “She’s a damsel who doesn’t need to be saved. She saves herself in many ways. It subverts what you expect: You’re expecting the prince to turn around and save her, and… no. Don’t wait for the prince.”

Joining Brown in the cast are Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Brooke Carter, Angela Bassett, and Robin Wright. The screenplay is penned by Dan Mazeau, known for “Wrath of the Titans.”

In addition to starring in the film, Millie Bobby Brown will also serve as an executive producer. With her recent battles against giant monsters in “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” and her iconic role in “Stranger Things,” fans can expect another remarkable performance from the talented actress.

Speaking of “Stranger Things,” fans can anticipate the final season to hit screens in 2025.
