The ensemble for Parker Finn’s highly anticipated “Smile 2” continues to expand, with the latest addition being Dylan Gelula from “Dream Scenario,” as reported by Deadline this afternoon.

Joining Gelula in the cast are Kyle Gallner reprising his role from the original “Smile,” along with Rosemarie DeWitt from “The Staircase,” Lukas Gage known for his work in “The White Lotus,” and Naomi Scott famed for her role in “Power Rangers.”

Scheduled for release on October 18, 2024, “Smile 2” is poised to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, which enjoyed immense success at the box office.

Parker Finn, who inked a multi-year, first-look deal with Paramount Pictures following the triumph of “Smile,” wasted no time in getting to work on its sequel.

Paramount CEO Brian Robbins expressed his excitement, stating, “Smile’s breakthrough success is a testament to Parker’s unique and fresh filmmaking, and we are thrilled that he will make Paramount his home.”

“Smile 2” will see Finn both writing and directing, promising to keep audiences captivated with his signature brand of suspense.

With the original film raking in a staggering $217 million worldwide in 2022, anticipation for the sequel is sky-high, ensuring that fans won’t have to wait too long for the next installment of the spine-chilling saga. Stay tuned for more updates on “Smile 2” as they become available.
