Horror veteran Stephen Lang is heading to Salem for a new supernatural nightmare.

The acclaimed actor, best known to horror fans for his terrifying performance in Don’t Breathe, has officially joined the cast of Mercy Good, the upcoming horror film from director Kevin Lewis (Willy’s Wonderland, Pig Hill).

Set in the infamous town of Salem, Massachusetts, Mercy Good follows a family seeking a fresh start after relocating to a historic home. Their hopes for a peaceful new beginning quickly unravel when they discover the property may be connected to an ancient supernatural force with roots stretching back centuries.

Lang will portray Henry Woodward, a respected local historian whose deep knowledge of Salem’s dark and sinister past could be the key to uncovering the truth behind the family’s growing terror.

The screenplay comes from Michael Caissie, whose previous genre credits include Hangman and Hunter’s Moon. Caissie praised Lang’s casting, noting that the actor brings a unique blend of intelligence, authenticity, and emotional depth to every role, qualities that are essential to the mythology-heavy character of Henry Woodward.

With Salem’s infamous history of witchcraft hysteria and supernatural folklore serving as the backdrop, Mercy Good looks poised to deliver a chilling blend of mystery, dark history, and supernatural horror.

Additional casting and release details have yet to be announced, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on Mercy Good as more information emerges.
