Brace yourselves for the impending shark attack horror movie titled “Deep Fear.” Gravitas Ventures has just secured the rights for the film’s distribution in the United States and Canada, according to a report by Screen Daily.

“Deep Fear” is set to make its digital debut in the United States on November 3, 2023, offering viewers a suspenseful and chilling experience.

The film features a talented cast, with Madalina Ghenea, known for her role in “House of Gucci,” and Ed Westwick, famous for “Gossip Girl,” taking the lead roles.

The storyline unfolds in the Caribbean, where “Deep Fear” follows the journey of a solo yachtswoman on a round-the-world trip to reunite with her boyfriend. However, her voyage takes a perilous turn when she crosses paths with a group of drug traffickers who coerce her into diving down to a shipwreck, surrounded by none other than great white sharks.

The film was directed by Marcus Adams, who previously helmed “Long Time Dead,” while the screenplay was crafted by Robert Capelli Jr and Sophia Eptamentis.

Danielle Gasher, representing Gravitas Ventures, expressed her excitement about the project, stating, “Deep Fear is everything you want it to be. An action-packed, edge-of-your-seat survival movie with great performances from leads Ed Westwick and Madalina Ghenea. Gravitas Ventures is thrilled to be partnering with Brilliant Pictures on this movie, and to bring Deep Fear to North American audiences.”

With its thrilling premise and a cast of talented actors, “Deep Fear” promises to deliver an adrenaline-pumping experience that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. As the release date draws nearer, horror enthusiasts and shark movie fans alike can look forward to this exciting addition to the genre.
