In “V/H/S/85,” viewers will be introduced to a chilling anthology of stories, presented in the form of a made-for-TV documentary. These five tales reveal the sinister secrets of the 1980s in a way that’s never been witnessed before. The narratives include scientists observing a peculiar boy fixated on his television, an adventurous lake skiing trip by kids, a TV crew’s battle for survival amidst a natural disaster, the awakening of something horrifying during the early days of VR, and a deadly dream captured on tape.

  5. Mike P. Nelson: Known for the post-apocalyptic horror “The Domestics” and the gory “Wrong Turn” remake, Nelson is set to bring his bold and unique perspective to the “V/H/S” universe.
