First look has arrived for Oddities, the upcoming horror thriller starring Lilimar (Inside Out 2) and Lovie Simone (The Craft: Legacy), alongside genre legend Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog, Escape from New York). The image, released via Deadline, teases the film’s tense, character-driven setup following its premiere at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival last month.

In Oddities, Lilimar and Simone play two self-destructive best friends whose lives spiral out of control after they accidentally kill their drug dealer. Forced to flee, the pair stumble upon a remote roadside antique shop while on the run—only to discover that the shop’s seemingly kind proprietor (Barbeau) is far more dangerous than she appears.

What begins as a desperate detour quickly turns into a nightmare, as the women find themselves trapped between a sinister new threat and the violent figures closing in from their past.

The film is written and directed by Tyler Savage, based on his 2023 proof-of-concept short, which also starred Barbeau.

The cast also includes Will Oldham (A Ghost Story), James Lee Thomas (One Spoon of Chocolate), Sarah Durn (Shelby Oaks), and Xander Berkeley (Candyman).

Oddities is produced by David Broad, Noah Lang, Javier Gonzalez, and Max Neace, with executive producers including Lilimar, Simone, Barbeau, Jamie Meyer, Andrew Carlberg, Lucas Fleisher, Misdee Wrigley Miller, Joe Livecchi, and David Cottingham.

International sales will be handled by Raven Banner Entertainment at this month’s Cannes Film Market.

With its festival buzz already building, Oddities is shaping up to be a tense blend of crime chaos and roadside horror.
