Director Alexandre Aja‘s next film, originally titled Mother Land, has undergone a change and is now known as Never Let Go. Lionsgate has recently unveiled the official poster and release date for the upcoming horror movie.

Never Let Go is set to hit theaters on September 27, 2024, bringing Academy Award winner Halle Berry to the forefront of its cast.

Joining Berry are Percy Daggs IV (known for The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey) and Anthony B. Jenkins (from Florida Man). The official poster, displayed below, sets the tone for what promises to be a chilling experience.

In this Lionsgate horror offering, Berry portrays a mother whose fraternal twin sons (played by Daggs and Jenkins) have long been haunted by a malevolent entity. The trio relies on their familial bond as a shield against the evil force. However, when doubt creeps in, one of the sons questions the reality of the threat, leading to a harrowing battle for survival.

Helmed by Aja and scripted by Kevin Coughlin & Ryan Grassby, the film is produced by 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Dan Levine, best known for their work on “Stranger Things.”
