Sydney Sweeney, Emmy Award nominee known for her roles in “The White Lotus” and “Euphoria,” takes the lead in the psychological horror film “Immaculate,” and NEON has unveiled the official poster for the movie. In addition, the theatrical release date for “Immaculate” is set for March 22.

The official trailer for the film is scheduled for release tomorrow, January 25. Directed by Michael Mohan, known for “The Voyeurs,” and written by Andrew Lobel, the movie marks a reunion between Sweeney and Mohan.

Sweeney portrays Cecilia in “Immaculate,” a woman deeply rooted in faith who finds herself offered a fulfilling position at a prestigious Italian convent. However, her idyllic introduction to the picturesque Italian countryside takes a dark turn as Cecilia discovers unsettling and horrifying secrets within her new home.

The cast of “Immaculate” also features Simona Tabasco (“The White Lotus”), Alvaro Morte (“Money Heist”), Benedetta Porcaroli (“Baby”), and Dora Romano (“The Hand of God”).

Produced by Fifty-Fifty Films with Sweeney and Jonathan Davino at the helm, the project was developed by David Bernad, known for “The Mule” and “The White Lotus,” in collaboration with Sweeney following their successful partnership on the Emmy-winning series “The White Lotus.” Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler produce for Black Bear.

Executive producers for Black Bear include John Friedberg and Christopher Casanova, along with Will Greenfield from “Euphoria.” “Immaculate” promises a gripping psychological horror experience with its talented cast and intriguing storyline.
