Would you watch The Blair Witch Project in the woods? Jaws in the ocean? How about Fall 2: Deadpoint while standing hundreds of feet above the ground?

The Fall franchise is taking its fear-of-heights premise outside the screen with a wild new immersive screening experience in Los Angeles ahead of the release of Fall 2: Deadpoint.

The horror sequel hits theaters nationwide on September 2, 2026, but a select group of moviegoers will get the chance to experience the film in a very different way on Saturday, August 22.

Two immersive screenings in Los Angeles will put audiences on elevated platforms for the entire movie, turning the film’s central fear of being trapped at extreme heights into a real-world endurance test.

Forget the comfort of a theater seat. Attendees will have to stand on elevated platforms throughout the screening, testing their balance and nerves as the tension unfolds on screen.

The experience is designed to recreate the vulnerability and fear of heights at the heart of Fall 2: Deadpoint.

And there’s only one rule: stay on the ledge for the entire movie.

That turns the screening into a competition to see who can last until the end. Who will be the final person standing?

Harriet Slater (Tarot) stars in Fall 2: Deadpoint alongside Arsema Thomas (“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”) and Tom Brittney (Greyhound).

Michael and Peter Spierig (Predestination, Jigsaw) direct the sequel from a screenplay by Fall writers Scott Mann, who also directed the original, and Jonathan Frank.

In Fall 2: Deadpoint, Jax is still struggling with the loss of her fearless sister, Hunter. She agrees to take on a dangerous climb alongside Hunter’s old friend as a way of honoring her memory.

Their climb up Mount Kwan takes a horrifying turn when a rockslide leaves them stranded 5,000 feet above the ground.

With vertigo-inducing heights, deadly obstacles, dark secrets, and unexpected twists standing between them and survival, Jax will have to confront her deepest fears if she wants to make it back down alive.

For most horror fans, watching Fall 2: Deadpoint from the safety of a theater seat will be frightening enough. For a select group in Los Angeles, however, the movie is about to get a whole lot more uncomfortable.
