Bishal Dutta’s upcoming horror film, “It Lives Inside,” is set to hit theaters on September 22nd, courtesy of NEON, and today, we have a new poster by Creepy Duck Design.

This fresh official poster offers a glimpse into the eerie world of the movie, and you can take a look at it below. Tickets for “It Lives Inside” are already available, so be sure to check your local listings for showtimes.

The film stars Megan Suri (“Never Have I Ever,” “Missing”), Neeru Bajwa (“Jatt & Juliet 1 & 2”), Mohana Krishnan, Vik Sahay (“Captain Marvel,” “Chuck”), and Betty Gabriel (“Get Out”).

In “It Lives Inside,” the story revolves around Sam, who is determined to assimilate into her school’s culture, forsaking her Indian heritage and family to conform to societal norms. However, when a mythological demonic spirit attaches itself to her former best friend, Sam must reconcile with her roots to confront and defeat the malevolent force.

The filmmaker’s inspiration for the movie drew from his own childhood experience of being born in India and later relocating to the United States. The narrative weaves elements from Indian demonic folklore and a deeply personal family story passed down by Dutta’s grandfather. The original screenplay was crafted by Dutta, and based on a story by Dutta and Ashish Mehta.

The film’s production was overseen by Raymond Mansfield and Sean McKittrick of QC Entertainment, with NEON, Edward H. Hamm Jr, Jameson Parker, Arielle Voisvert, and Shawn Williamson serving as executive producers. “It Lives Inside” promises to bring a unique and engaging take on demonic horror to the big screen.
