Frogwares is taking players deeper into its Lovecraftian nightmare with one final trailer for The Sinking City 2, arriving less than a week before the survival horror game launches.

The new narrated trailer offers a closer look at the game’s flooded and decaying version of Arkham, where supernatural horrors lurk around every corner. It also introduces the story of Calvin Rafferty and Faye Bennett, while teasing the mystery behind why Calvin remains in a city everyone else has abandoned.

Set in a twisted version of 1920s America, The Sinking City 2 drops players into an Arkham consumed by a supernatural flood. Most residents have fled, leaving behind a ruined city crawling with monsters and eldritch horrors.

Players take on the role of Calvin Rafferty (voiced by Andrew Wheildon-Dennis), an occult adventurer whose reckless actions have unleashed devastating consequences. After a ritual goes horribly wrong, Calvin’s girlfriend, Faye Bennett (voiced by Gemma Elizabeth Whelan), becomes trapped in a mysterious sleep.

With Faye’s fate hanging in the balance, Calvin must venture through the drowned streets of Arkham in search of a way to bring her back.

Along the way, he’ll encounter the Slither, a terrifying plague of otherworldly creatures capable of possessing corpses and transforming the dead into deadly walking puppets.

The latest trailer also highlights the game’s survival horror mechanics, combining investigation, exploration, and brutal combat. Resources are limited, making every bullet count as players uncover Arkham’s darkest secrets.

The Sinking City 2 launches August 18, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
