Following last week’s teaser trailer, the first official image from Evil Dead Burn has surfaced online, offering an eerie glimpse at the next chapter in the long-running horror franchise.

The film hits theaters July 10 through New Line and Warner Bros., promising to unleash a fresh wave of Deadite terror.

Directed by Sébastien Vaniček (Infested), who co-wrote the script with Florent Bernard, Evil Dead Burn marks the sixth entry in the iconic series.

The story centers on a grieving widow who retreats to her in-laws’ remote home after the death of her husband, hoping to find comfort among family. Instead, the gathering descends into chaos as members are slowly possessed and transformed into Deadites, turning the reunion into a nightmare. As the horror escalates, she’s forced to confront a terrifying truth: the vows she made in life may bind her even beyond death.

The ensemble cast includes Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two), Tandi Wright (Pearl), Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), Errol Shand (Deathgasm), Maude Davey (The Leftovers), George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink (Territory).

Behind the scenes, franchise creator Sam Raimi and longtime producer Rob Tapert return to produce under Ghost House Pictures, with Bruce Campbell and Evil Dead Rise director Lee Cronin serving as executive producers alongside Romel Adam and Jose Canas.

And the franchise isn’t slowing down—Evil Dead Wrath, directed by Francis Galluppi, is already slated for release on April 7, 2028.
