Woody Harrelson and Kristen Stewart Team Up in ‘Full Phil’

Studiocanal has dropped the first image from Full Phil, giving us an early glimpse of Woody Harrelson and Kristen Stewart in the latest brain-bender from French auteur Quentin Dupieux (Rubber, Deerskin).

Harrelson plays Philip Doom, a filthy-rich American industrialist who bankrolls an ultra-luxury trip to Paris in a desperate attempt to reconnect with his estranged daughter Madeleine (Stewart). Naturally, nothing goes according to plan. In classic Dupieux fashion, the trip spirals into absurdity as French haute cuisine, a 1950s horror movie, and an aggressively intrusive hotel employee begin sabotaging their stay.

The cast also includes Charlotte Le Bon, Emma Mackey, Nassim Lyes, Tim Heidecker, and Eric Wareheim—because no Dupieux project is complete without a few beautifully unhinged supporting players.

Describing the film to Variety, Dupieux calls Full PhilEmily in Paris in Hell — a fever dream, a nightmare version of it,” which feels right at home in his surreal, blackly comic universe.

Full Phil is currently in post-production, with Studiocanal set to launch international sales at the European Film Market in Berlin later this month.
