In the upcoming romantic thriller “Love Lies Bleeding,” directed by Rose Glass of “Saint Maud” fame, Kristen Stewart takes center stage in a tale of vengeance fueled by love. The latest trailer offers a glimpse into the intensity awaiting viewers in this gripping narrative.

Starring alongside Stewart is Katy O’Brian (“The Walking Dead”) in this A24 production, described as “a tale of romance propelled by ambition, desire, and the pursuit of the American Dream.”

The story follows Lou, a secluded gym manager whose heart becomes entangled with Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder en route to Las Vegas to chase her aspirations. However, their passionate love story spirals into a violent turn, entwining them deeply within the intricate web of Lou’s criminal family.

Joining Stewart and O’Brian are Dave Franco (“The After Party”), Ed Harris (“Westworld”), Anna Baryshnikov (“Dickinson”), and Jena Malone (“Goliath”).

Director Rose Glass, a double BAFTA nominee, collaborates with A24 and Film4 for this project, directing from a script she co-wrote alongside Weronika Tofilska.

A24 takes the lead in production alongside Andrea Cornwell for Lobo Films and Oliver Kassman for Escape Plan Productions, handling the film’s global release. Film4 has been instrumental in the film’s development and will co-finance it.

“Love Lies Bleeding” is poised to make its world premiere at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival 2024, promising an enthralling debut for this intense romantic thriller.
