Isabelle Fuhrman Shares Blood-Soaked Photo as Filming Wraps on Orphans
The twisted world of Esther is about to expand once again. Isabelle Fuhrman will return as the chilling child in the upcoming prequel Orphans, which has just been picked up for U.S. distribution by Republic Pictures. Filming on the film has officially wrapped, and a blood-soaked behind-the-scenes photo has already surfaced, hinting at the horror to come.
Fans can likely expect Orphans to hit theaters sometime in mid-to-late 2026.
William Brent Bell (Orphan: First Kill, The Boy) directs from a script by David Coggeshall (Orphan: First Kill, The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia), promising to push the saga in bold new directions.
Joining Fuhrman are Stephen Moyer (True Blood), Susanne Wuest (Goodnight Mommy), and Simon Man (Westworld), all set to explore the darker corners of Esther’s world.
The original Orphan, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra in 2009, introduced audiences to Esther, while Fuhrman returned to the role for 2022’s Orphan: First Kill. Now, the third film promises to up the ante. Fuhrman herself teased that Orphans will be “wilder and crazier,” leaving horror fans eager to see just how far Esther’s story will go.
