Samara Weaving is back in blood-soaked survival mode in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and Searchlight Pictures just dropped the official trailer for the long-awaited sequel.

This time, Weaving isn’t facing the nightmare alone. She’s joined by a stacked genre cast including Kathryn Newton (Abigail), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Dexter: Original Sin), Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), Elijah Wood (Yellowjackets), and even horror legend David Cronenberg.

Ready or Not 2 hits theaters April 10, 2026.

The Story

Moments after surviving the Le Domas family’s brutal hunt, Grace (Weaving) is thrust into the next level of the sadistic game — and this round is even deadlier. With her estranged sister Faith (Newton) suddenly pulled into the chaos, the two must fight to survive while four rival families hunt them for control of the mysterious Council that rules everything. Only one winner gets the throne… and everyone else dies trying.

The sequel also stars Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, and Daniel Beirne.

Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett return behind the camera, reuniting with original writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy for what promises to be a more explosive, more unhinged continuation of the cult-favorite 2019 nightmare.
