Josh Hutcherson & Frank Dillane Hunted by New A24 Nightmare from The First Omen Filmmakers
Fans of The First Omen have been waiting to see what director Arkasha Stevenson would unleash next — and it looks like she’s teaming with A24 to summon something truly disturbing.
According to new reports, Stevenson is reuniting with Tim Smith, her co-writer on The First Omen, for a brand-new, untitled A24 horror film that’s already attracting major star power.
Josh Hutcherson (Five Nights at Freddy’s), Frank Dillane (Fear the Walking Dead), Caleb Landry Jones (Get Out), and Whitmer Thomas (Weapons) are all circling leading roles. The plot is locked down tight, but insiders say the film revolves around a bachelor party that mutates into absolute terror — and knowing A24, this won’t be your typical night of drinks and strippers. Expect something ritualistic, violent, and unsettling.
A24 has stacked the creative team as well: Ari Aster, the mastermind behind Hereditary and Midsommar, is executive producing under his Square Peg banner. Smith, Lars Knudsen, Emily Hildner, Harrison Huffman, and Christina D’Souza are set to produce.
Hutcherson returns to horror soon with Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, hitting theaters December 5. Caleb Landry Jones will also appear in Luc Besson’s Dracula: A Love Tale, arriving early 2026.
This A24 project is shaping up to be one of the most twisted horror events on the horizon — and Gore Culture will be watching every bloody step.
