Eli Roth Unleashes ‘Ice Cream Man’: First Look at Ari Millen in the Killer Cone’s Seat

Eli Roth is bringing a new kind of nightmare to summer streets with his latest horror creation, Ice Cream Man. The first official image has dropped, and it’s Ari Millen (“Orphan Black”) staring from the shadows in the title role — a man who turns childhood treats into unspeakable terror.

The film’s cast is stacked with genre favorites: Benjamin Byron Davis (Red Dead Redemption), Karen Cliche (Thanksgiving), Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer (The Handmaid’s Tale), and Charlie Storey. Roth himself rounds out the ensemble, co-writing the script with longtime collaborator Noah Belson.

Ice Cream Man tells the story of an idyllic summer town that quickly descends into chaos when a seemingly sweet ice cream man lures kids with his sugary delights — only for them to meet horrifying fates.

Adding to the film’s dark flavor, Snoop Dogg is lending his musical talents alongside composer Brandon Roberts (Thanksgiving, Andor), setting the tone for a summer that’s anything but sweet.

The gore and prosthetics are handled by Oscar winner Adrien Morot (The Whale, Thanksgiving) and Steve Newburn (Thanksgiving, Frankenstein), promising effects that will leave horror fans squirming in their seats.

Roth, producing alongside Christopher Woodrow, Raj Singh, and Kate Harrison, shared his excitement:

“I couldn’t be more thrilled about the incredible cast we’ve assembled for Ice Cream Man. It’s surreal to see an idea I’ve had for over 20 years come to life — and with this insanely talented cast, we get to deliver a film to horror fans that’s as terrifying as I’ve always imagined.”

Principal photography wrapped in September, and the film is slated for a wide theatrical release in 2026 via Roth’s The Horror Section. WME Independent is representing international rights at the American Film Market, and StudioCanal’s Sixth Dimension has already acquired distribution across the UK, Germany, France, Benelux, Poland, Australia, and New Zealand.

With Eli Roth at the helm and a killer cast, Ice Cream Man promises to turn sunny sidewalks into terrifying nightmares — and it’s ready to serve horror fans a summer they won’t forget.
