Stephen King’s ‘The Long Walk’ Hits Digital Next Week, Blu-ray in November
The Long Walk, Stephen King’s first-ever novel adaptation, hits digital platforms on October 21 before arriving on SteelBook 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD via Lionsgate on November 25. Directed by Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Constantine) and scripted by JT Mollner (Strange Darling), the film offers a tense, dystopian thriller experience.
Set in a totalitarian United States, 50 young men enter an annual walking contest where they must maintain a speed of at least three miles per hour — or face execution. Only one walker will survive.
