Neon has debuted the official poster and first haunting clip from Together, a genre-bending horror film that dives into the terrifying extremes of love, flesh, and codependency. Real-life couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco star as a romantic pair whose relationship mutates—literally—under cosmic pressure.

Currently sitting at a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, Together opens in theaters July 30.

The story follows Tim and Millie, who flee the city for a fresh start in the countryside. But their attempt to rebuild quickly turns sour. Isolated and emotionally strained, the couple encounters a mysterious, otherworldly force that begins to distort their bond—and their bodies—in grotesque and increasingly horrifying ways.

Marking the feature directorial debut of Michael Shanks, the film also stars Damon Herriman, Sunny S. Walia, Jack Kenny, and Mia Morrissey.

Critics are already taking notice. Out of Sundance, Meagan Navarro praised the film as a “unique blend of awkward romantic dramedy and cosmic body horror,” adding that it “left the rowdy Sundance audience laughing and screaming in equal measure.”

Rated R for violent and disturbing content, sexual content, graphic nudity, language, and brief drug use, Together promises a visceral exploration of intimacy pushed to its most terrifying limits.
