The horror-comedy series that had audiences laughing and shivering in equal measure last year, “Shining Vale,” is gearing up for its highly-anticipated return on Starz for Season 2. Mark your calendars for the premiere on Friday, October 13, at midnight ET on the STARZ app, and for viewers in the U.K. and Ireland, on the LIONSGATE+ streaming platform.

For those who prefer traditional viewing, the series will also debut on STARZ on Friday, October 13th, at 9 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada. Subsequent episodes will be available for streaming weekly on Fridays at midnight on the STARZ app and will air weekly on the STARZ linear platform.

While you eagerly await the return of “Shining Vale” Season 2, you can catch a glimpse of the madness that awaits with the official trailer provided above!

“Shining Vale” boasts an ensemble cast featuring Emmy Award® nominee Courteney Cox (“Friends,” “Cougar Town”), Academy Award® nominee and Emmy Award® winner Greg Kinnear (“As Good as It Gets,” “The Kennedys”), and Academy Award® winner Mira Sorvino (“Hollywood,” “The Expecting”).

The first season of “Shining Vale” introduced viewers to the dysfunctional Phelps family, who sought to escape their troubles by relocating to a Victorian mansion in a quiet Connecticut town. Little did they know that their new home might be haunted. Things took a dark turn when Pat, portrayed by Courteney Cox, crossed paths with Rosemary, a demon that possessed her, turning her life upside down. The family’s efforts to “save” Pat led to her confinement in a psychiatric hospital, where she stumbled upon an old photo of a nurse who bore an uncanny resemblance to her demon, Rosemary.

Season two picks up four months later, as Pat’s insurance coverage expires, and she is discharged early from the psychiatric facility. Determined to mend her fractured family, Pat returns home, only to discover that her children are doing just fine without her, her husband Terry has no memory of her, and to make matters worse, her new neighbor Ruth bears an unsettling resemblance to Rosemary. As if that weren’t enough, the house begins to unveil the shocking secrets of its ominous past. Every mother may occasionally feel like they’re in an insane asylum, but in Pat’s case, she might not be entirely wrong!

Joining the stellar cast are Gus Birney (“Dickinson”), Merrin Dungey (“Big Little Lies,” “The Resident”), and Dylan Gage (“PEN15”). Additionally, Emmy Award® nominees Judith Light (“Poker Face”), Allison Tolman (“Gaslit,” “Why Women Kill”), and Sherilyn Fenn (“Twin Peaks”) make special appearances.

“Shining Vale” boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers, including Jeff Astrof (“Trial and Error”) from Other Shoe Productions, Sharon Horgan, and Clelia Mountford (“Bad Sisters,” “Motherland”) from Merman, as well as Aaron Kaplan (“The Chi,” “The Neighborhood”) and Melanie Frankel from Kapital Entertainment. Courteney Cox also takes on a producing role. The series is co-created by Astrof and Horgan and is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Lionsgate Television in collaboration with Other Shoe Productions, Merman, and Kapital Entertainment.

Get ready to embrace the comedy-horror chaos once more as “Shining Vale” Season 2 beckons viewers into a world where the supernatural meets the absurd. Don’t miss the chillingly hilarious return of this beloved series on Starz this October 13th!
