Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights is making a spine-chilling return to the Universal Orlando Resort on September 1st, followed by the festivities at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 7th. The event promises a thrilling lineup of haunted houses and scare zones that are sure to delight horror enthusiasts.

Among the highlights are three haunted houses inspired by iconic horror franchises. First up is ‘The Exorcist: Believer,’ a new chapter where guests are transported to a bustling street market in Haiti. An innocent purchase of a strange folk doll with three eyes sets off a demonic portal, leading to the disappearance of two young girls in the U.S. The girls return with no memory of their ordeal, but their unsettling behavior hints at a darker presence within them. Only an exorcism can save them, and unsuspecting visitors become entangled in the sinister supernatural forces at play.

Next, fans of the infamous killer doll can experience ‘Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count,’ where Chucky takes center stage in his own haunted house for the first time. The malevolent toy is on a vengeful quest, turning his haunted house into a blood-soaked slaughterhouse by targeting anyone who dares to enter.

For classic horror aficionados, ‘Universal Monsters: Unmasked’ offers a descent into the catacombs beneath the City of Lights. Sixty feet below the surface, the dank Catacombs of Paris harbor dark secrets and millions of skeletal remains. The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and The Invisible Man lurk in the shadows, seeking vengeance against visitors who dare to tread on their forbidden territory.

Additionally, the Universal Orlando Resort boasts original haunted houses, each with its own sinister tale to unfold. From a demented, late-night circus led by an evil ringmaster to a colonial cult seeking to unleash horror on those who defy them, the scares are plentiful.

Five unnerving scare zones await visitors, with each zone offering unique encounters with terrifying creatures and sinister legends. Dr. Oddfellow, a Halloween Horror Nights icon, steps out of the past to fill the streets with taunting scare actors. Guests will come face to face with horrifying zodiac creatures and experience twisted and bizarre experiments in the ‘Jungle of Doom: Expedition Horror’ zone.

Beyond haunted attractions, guests can enjoy spine-chilling experiences, killer food, and themed libations at various venues. A new show, “Nightmare Fuel Revenge Dream,” will confront a dreamer with her nightmarish creature, and the Tribute Store will feature a mysterious NYC Comic Book Shop and a chilling horror comic book experience. The Red Coconut Club transforms into the Dead Coconut Club, offering new themes and menus.

Guests can indulge in monstrous food and beverage items, including Bloody Campground Poutine and El Pastor Torta, as well as returning favorites like Pizza Fries. Peacock’s Halloween Horror Bar will serve themed libations in an ominous nightclub setting, with photo opportunities to capture the haunting memories.

For those eager to experience the horror early, Taste of Terror offers an exclusive preview of select food and beverage items on select nights from August 10 through August 26.

As Halloween Horror Nights draws closer, horror enthusiasts are left eagerly anticipating the spine-chilling spectacles and terrifying encounters that await them. Whether attending at Universal Orlando Resort or Universal Studios Hollywood, this year’s event promises to be a scream-worthy experience.
