Chuck Norris, the iconic action hero, is set to take on the undead in the upcoming action-comedy film “Zombie Plane,” according to a report by THR. Joining him in this “nostalgia-soaked” adventure are the equally iconic Vanilla Ice and the talented Sophie Monk.

“Zombie Plane” revolves around a clandestine government organization that enlists celebrities to act as undercover agents. Together, this star-studded team is tasked with the mission of saving humanity from a looming zombie apocalypse.

What sets this film apart is the fact that Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice, and Sophie Monk are not playing characters but are portraying themselves. In an intriguing twist, Chuck Norris steps into the role of Commander Chuck Norris, who serves as the mentor and trainer of Vanilla Ice, transforming him into a lethal secret agent. The movie promises to be a star-studded affair, with numerous celebrity cameos and a ’90s pop soundtrack featuring tracks by Vanilla Ice himself.

Directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Pier, this zombie flick is a joint venture between Radioactive and Entertainment Squad. THR reports that the film was already shot earlier this year in Australia.

Shaked Berenson of Entertainment Squad, known for projects like “Turbo Kid” and “Tales of Halloween,” hints at what makes “Zombie Plane” unique. He suggests that the film uses comedy, the zombie genre, and ’90s nostalgia as a means to both comment on and embrace pop culture. Expect unforgettable one-liners and over-the-top situational comedy as this movie promises to take nostalgia to the extreme.

Fans of the film can anticipate its international sales launch by Studio Dome at the American Film Market in November. With Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice, and Sophie Monk teaming up to fight zombies, “Zombie Plane” is shaping up to be an exciting and entertaining addition to the world of action-comedy.
