The upcoming Saw sequel, Saw X, will see the return of Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young. The film is set between the events of Saw I and II and follows John Kramer as he travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer. However, he soon discovers that the operation is a scam and vows to get revenge on the con artists.

The film also stars Tobin Bell as John Kramer, Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto, Octavio Hinojosa, Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, and Michael Beach. It is directed by Kevin Greutert, who has previously directed Saw IV, Saw V, and Saw 3D.

The new image from Rotten Tomatoes shows Smith back in the iconic pig mask, which she first wore in Saw II. The image is sure to excite fans of the Saw franchise, who have been eagerly awaiting Smith’s return.

Saw X is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 29, 2023.
