The official poster for Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving has been released, along with the announcement that the teaser trailer will be released tomorrow, September 7th. The film is an expansion of Roth’s faux trailer seen in Grindhouse (2007) and will be released in theaters worldwide by TriStar Pictures and Spyglass Media Group (Scream) on November 17, 2023.

The poster features a bloody carving knife and a turkey leg, with the tagline “The most dangerous day of the year.” The teaser trailer is expected to show a masked killer stalking and murdering people in a small town on Thanksgiving Day.

The film stars Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim, Nell Verlaque, Gina Gershon, Tim Dillon, and Rick Hoffman. Roth wrote the script with Jeff Rendell, and Roger Birnbaum and Eli Roth are producing.

Deadline reports that the original Thanksgiving trailer “presented the gory teaser about a pseudo movie in which a slasher makes his own carving board out of the inhabitants of a Massachusetts town that makes a big annual fuss over the annual turkey day.”

It has been 15 years since the original Grindhouse release, but Thanksgiving is finally coming to life. The film is sure to be a bloody and gruesome spectacle, and fans of Eli Roth’s work are sure to be excited.
