A new clip from Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming film “A Haunting in Venice” has been released, and it invites viewers to a spooky Halloween party hosted by Agatha Christie.

The clip features Hercule Poirot (Branagh) explaining that he doesn’t believe in the paranormal, but his belief is tested when a chandelier mysteriously crashes to the ground.

“A Haunting in Venice” is set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve. Poirot is retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world’s most glamorous city. He reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.

The film also stars Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarico, and Michelle Yeoh.

“A Haunting in Venice” is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 15, 2023.
