Gerard Butler Returns in Greenland 2: Migration, Digital Release Tomorrow
The battle for survival escalates in Greenland 2: Migration, arriving on Premium Digital tomorrow, January 27, via Lionsgate.
Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, and Roger Dale Floyd return in the post-apocalyptic sequel, set five years after the catastrophic events of 2020’s Greenland.
In the aftermath of a comet strike that destroyed much of Earth, the Garrity family must leave the relative safety of their Greenland bunker and traverse a shattered, hostile world in search of a new home.
Director Ric Roman Waugh returns to the helm, working from a script by Chris Sparling (Greenland, Buried) and Mitchell LaFortune (Last Breath). Joining Butler and Baccarin are Roman Griffin Davis, Amber Rose Revah, Sophie Thompson, Trond Fausa Aurvåg, and William Abadie.
Producers include Butler, Waugh, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Alan Siegel, Sebastien Raybaud, John Zois, and Brendon Boyea.
The digital release features a robust set of special features:
- Rebuilding: Ric Roman Waugh
- Pushing Forward: Gerard Butler
- Heart and Soul: Morena Baccarin
- What We Leave Behind: Roman Griffin Davis
- Theatrical Trailer
Greenland 2: Migration is rated PG-13 for “some strong violence, bloody images, and action.”
The apocalypse continues—this time, the stakes are even higher.
