The Walking Dead Star Callan McAuliffe Joins Chilling Psychological Horror ‘Deluxe Ocean View’
Reality starts to fracture in Deluxe Ocean View, an upcoming psychological horror now filming along the frozen coastline of Cape Cod, and it’s bringing a stacked cast with it.
Leading the descent is Callan McAuliffe (The Walking Dead), joined by Camryn Manheim (Ghost Whisperer), Henry Ian Cusick (Lost), Ray Campbell (Breaking Bad), and Ryan Powers (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law).
Set against the desolate, ice-covered shores of Massachusetts in the dead of winter, the film follows Ethan Everett, a once-respected exposé journalist clinging to relevance. His last shot at redemption leads him to a near-abandoned luxury resort—an isolated place that feels less like a destination and more like a trap.
But the real story isn’t the interview he came for.
It’s the hotel itself.
As Ethan settles in, the remaining guests and staff begin to feel… off. The enigmatic owner Vera, the ever-watchful manager Oliver, the morally complex Simon, and a drifter named Johnny all seem tied to something deeper lurking beneath the surface. Something that knows more about Ethan than it should.
What begins as a routine assignment quickly spirals into a psychological nightmare, where guilt, repression, and buried truths claw their way to the surface—and the line between reality and something far more sinister starts to dissolve.
Directed by Laurence Vannicelli (Mother, May I?) and written by Powers, Deluxe Ocean View promises a slow-burn descent into paranoia, where the setting is just as dangerous as the secrets it reveals.
Behind the scenes, Powers produces through R U Mad At Me Productions alongside Jason B. Stamey and Ellyn Vander Wyden, with The Fosters creator Bradley Bredeweg serving as executive producer.
