Producer Sam Raimi, known for his knack for delivering chilling horror experiences, is back with another spine-tingling venture, “Boy Kills World.” Following the skin-crawling success of last year’s “Evil Dead Rise,” Raimi’s latest production features the same bone-chilling tool: the cheese grater.

Starring the talented Bill Skarsgård as a deaf-mute protagonist, “Boy Kills World” promises to plunge audiences into a dystopian nightmare like no other. With Raimi and Roy Lee onboard as producers, this film is poised to be an unparalleled action spectacle, set to hit theaters on April 26 courtesy of Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions.

For those eagerly awaiting a taste of the terror to come, a gruesome Red Band clip has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into the relentless carnage that awaits. With its “R” rating for intense violence, gore, language, drug use, and sexual references, this is not a film for the faint of heart.

Directed by Moritz Mohr and penned by Arend Remmers and Tyler Burton Smith, “Boy Kills World” follows the journey of Boy, portrayed by Skarsgård, who, after a devastating loss, finds refuge in the jungle. Under the tutelage of a mysterious shaman, Boy must suppress his vivid imagination and embrace his newfound role as an agent of destruction.

Raimi himself teases the film’s distinct visual style and audacious narrative, promising audiences an exhilarating and outlandish cinematic experience. With a diverse ensemble cast including Jessica Rothe, Yayan Ruhian, Andrew Koji, Isaiah Mustafa, Famke Janssen, Sharlto Copley, Michelle Dockery, Brett Gelman, Quinn Copeland, and the Crovetti twins, “Boy Kills World” is poised to leave viewers breathless with its eye-popping stunts, deranged humor, and eclectic storytelling.

As anticipation mounts, fans can prepare for a rollercoaster ride of terror and excitement unlike anything they’ve ever seen before.
