One of the anticipated genre films making its way to SXSW 2024 is ‘Arcadian’, previously known as ‘Sand and Stones’. This post-apocalyptic creature feature stars Nicolas Cage, and the first image from the film has been unveiled.

Set in a dystopian world, ‘Arcadian’ follows a father and his two sons as they struggle to survive after a catastrophic event devastates the planet. They must navigate their harsh environment while facing threats from mysterious creatures that emerge at night. Joining Cage in the cast are Jaeden Martell (‘IT’ 2017), Maxwell Jenkins (‘Lost in Space’), and Sadie Soverall (‘Fate: The Winx Saga’).

Directed by Ben Brewer (‘The Trust’) and written by Mike Nilon (‘Braven’), ‘Arcadian’ was filmed in Ireland. The producers include David Wulf, Braxton Pope, Nicolas Cage, Mike Nilon, Arianne Fraser, and Delphine Perrier.
