Rebellious Nun Battles Demons Aboard a Runaway Train in ‘Speed Demon’ Trailer

Katie Cassidy is trading arrows for holy warfare in Speed Demon, a high-speed horror ride that throws possession, faith, and survival onto a train with no brakes.

The upcoming demonic thriller hits theaters, Digital, and VOD on May 31, 2026—and the new trailer makes it clear this isn’t your typical exorcism story.

In Speed Demon, Sister Lu boards a train from Montreal to New York City alongside Father Novak, played by William H. Macy. What starts as a routine journey quickly spirals into chaos when the train is overtaken by a powerful vengeance demon known as Asmodeus.

Passengers begin turning—one by one—into possessed threats, transforming the train into a rolling nightmare. With no escape and the train hurtling forward, Sister Lu is forced into an impossible situation: confronting her shattered faith and performing an exorcism—something no nun has ever done before.

The trailer teases a tense dynamic between Sister Lu and Father Novak, whose uneasy partnership is tested as the situation escalates. Adding to the dread, a mysterious young girl seems to understand the demon’s purpose before the horror fully takes hold—hinting that something much darker is at play.

Behind the camera, Jon Keeyes (Cult Killer) directs from a script by Domenico Salvaggio (Die), blending supernatural horror with high-stakes action.

Keeyes has described Speed Demon as a fast-paced, effects-driven horror experience packed with unique characters, intense set pieces, and a central story about redemption. At its core, Sister Lu isn’t just fighting demons—she’s battling her own past, addictions, and loss of belief in order to survive.

Between the confined setting, relentless pacing, and a nun stepping into uncharted territory, Speed Demon looks ready to deliver a chaotic, faith-driven nightmare on rails.
