The wait just got a little shorter for one of 2026’s most anticipated horror thrillers. Ready or Not 2: Here I Come will now hit theaters March 27, two weeks ahead of the original April 10 release date.

The pre-Easter timing signals Searchlight’s confidence in the sequel, though it will go head-to-head with Warner Bros.’ They Will Kill You. With the growing buzz around Ready or Not 2, Warner Bros. could adjust its schedule in the coming weeks.

Returning for the sequel are Samara Weaving, directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, and writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.

Picking up moments after the deadly attack by the Le Domas family, Grace enters the next level of the nightmarish game — this time with her estranged sister Faith by her side.
